As 2024 passes, it will be remembered as the shortest ever sailing season ! So much so that I need to resort to my diary to recall the few sailing highlights ! Refusing to venture out on the Heybridge Event due to the weather and getting neaped in Woodbridge due to the horizontal rain and the icy strong wind is what springs to mind !

Therefore 2025 is a great anticipation as surely it must be more suitable for us fair weather sailors ! ( awaiting comments from our motor boaters with their windscreen wipers view )

With a number of new members who will hopefully join on a few events, the future looks promising.

Also Jan our new Commodore, along with Rob as Vice Commodore, we have a different perspective to 2025, and hopefully a very successful sailing season.

The prog is varied including a Greek flotilla so get your diaries filled and booked on the BCC Website !

With the sun on your back, wind in your hair, diesel in your tank and the main set, 2025 will be fondly remembered !
